2026 Vols Transfer Portal Thread

I especially like having 4 players that can dribble in the open court...

You throw out a lineup like Tanner, Dai Dai, Juke, Haralson and Rubin and you have 4 legit drive by you guys and finish at the rim types with 3 of them also being catch & shoot targets for kick outs.
And what do we call that??? 🤔

I'm just gonna say it ... based on the eyeball test, Haralson looks every bit as good as Juke to me, if not better.

Especially if you compare Juke in year 1 to Haralson in year 1

Juke played 19mpg in 31 games and was a 6.1ppg, 2.8rpg freshman that shot 42.6% FG and just 30% 3PT and was awful at the FT line with 59.5% FT... he developed a ton year 1 to 2

Jalen was a top 20 HS ranked player and is coming off 27mpg in 27 games with 16.2ppg, 4rpg, 2.6apg shooting 51.5% FG and 20% 3PT with 67.4% FT

I am just hoping it's not an "either or" situation and it's a "bring on both" thing...

I really believe we want / can get both not only bc they are great players but the diversity they give you in lineups. Juke is a big wing. He can slide to 2 or 3 and Haralson 3 or 4 go big or small lineups.

In some ways you make yourself scheme proof
i.e. they want to play zone or soft man to stop penetration? Fine we have Lundblade. Want to go quick and get up on us? We can go big and take you down low.

Lots of possibility.

Tanner | 30 MPG
Hill | 25 MPG
Harris | 30 MPG
Haralson | 25 MPG
Rubin | 25 MPG
-
Ames | 20 MPG
Lundblade | 20 MPG
Brown | 20 MPG
Washington/Scott | 5 MPG

I mean, it can work - just may have to be more position-less with our 2-4 group.
Maybe throw the rest of money available to add a Thiam.

Anyone?

As BTO said earlier, this one breaking UNC's way could seemingly help with Tennessee's pursuit of Juke.

Trilly did his official prediction for Terrence Brown to UNC yesterday.

He's 95% accurate on official predictions. His official prediction for juke to Michigan on Saturday seems to have soured. Update today was that he is trying to make sense of it all.

Yeah it seems Pete Nakos on on3 said same thing. Somewhat up in the air for Juke

One issue holding us back is having limited players who can take their man when we need it. JG could. Evans could at times. Having 3 or 4 on the floor who can clear out and go is desirable.
