I was envious of Vandy having Enrique Bradfield in CF and have wanted someone like him who could cover a ton of territory. Abernathy is the closest we've had with elite speed. And it sounds like he's a stud at the plate too.

Agree if Grimmer is going to unseat anyone from a starting position it is Brown or Chapman which will be a tough task. It is a good problem to have when you have Grimmer, Wright and Myatt all fighting for a starting spot.

I’m not sure what Abernathy’s walk rate and contact rate will be, but if those are really good, then we will have us an elite lead-off man. Plus, that speed patrolling CF and his great arm will make him even more valuable.

I'm more excited this year than last year. I want to see what Elander can do with this talent. I think we have another young coaching star...but this one won't have to build from the floor up.

Yeah we only lost one recruit which is insane for the turnover we had in the coaching department. We’re absolutely loaded and this last week before season starts is gonna drag.
