exactly! can't believe people saying lady vols system doesn't translate to WNBA. every WNBA team is doing run out in transition and spread the floor. the system that's becoming obsolete is pound it into the paint halfcourt sets with a big slow center. all WNBA teams would love a 6'4 player who can run and shoot 3s.Trust me, the WNBA has no problem with 6-4 players who can run the floor and shoot. That type goes back to Candace, through Ella Della Donne, Breanna Stewart and many others. There is no widespread over those kind of players translating to the pros.
I think people are having a hard time grasping the quick substitutions. They think they arent playing a lot of minutes, not looking at the bigger picture! I do hope Kim realizes the type of athletes she’s coaching now can go a little bit longer though!exactly! can't believe people saying lady vols system doesn't translate to WNBA. every WNBA team is doing run out in transition and spread the floor. the system that's becoming obsolete is pound it into the paint halfcourt sets with a big slow center. all WNBA teams would love a 6'4 player who can run and shoot 3s.
MSST looking like a disaster. Going to be fielding a team that can’t compete in the MEAC.![]()
MEAC Rookie of the Year Saniyah King transferring to Mississippi State University
Mississippi State has landed another women's basketball transfer in the form of MEAC Rookie of the Year Saniyah King.www.on3.com
Little surprised everyone is going for a 15 player roster. No way they can all play that includes us. Tennessee, SC, LSU, and Ole Miss will have 15 players on their roster. Texas don't know yet. Bench warming coming. We can play 12 solid and three going to do a lot of sitting.
It will be greased lightening Dude. I cannot wait to watch it. I know a three point shooter is still needed, but yeah, fast @GameTimeThe starting 5 next season is going to be very fast.....

I think people grasp. Easy to look at the stats and see how many total mins they play. It’s the dispersment of the mins, players getting use to never playing sustained minutes. Basically they’re in for a possession or two at a time.I think people are having a hard time grasping the quick substitutions. This is probably very true.I think people grasp. Easy to look at the stats and see how many total mins they play. It’s the dispersment of the mins, players getting use to never playing sustained minutes. Basically they’re in for a possession or two at a time.
By this point, anyone who comes here to play is fully aware of all of it and bought in on it so it shouldn’t be a problem. However, some may still find it difficult to adjust to actually playing that way when the time comes. I don’t think Jewel ever fully adjusted.
I bet dollars to donuts that doesn’t change next yr. If anything, I think with a roster more suited she subs even more.
I see a more defined substitution pattern,,,with both mass and purposeful subbingsI think people grasp. Easy to look at the stats and see how many total mins they play. She is more committed to her system than most realize, but your thought is of course possible, I doubt it though. You can tell, she wants to show everyone her system will work at every level. And it might, based upon her first year results.I see a more defined substitution pattern,,,with both mass and purposeful subbings
Oh and I'm thinking the next one announced will be taller,,,I'm smilin again
Sounds a bit like Nico. Wasn’t it generally well known last yr MLs family wasn’t happy w her role and playing time? Though Dawn generally handles her embarrassment of riches well, some kids are just going to want to play more and be the feature player. If they can also score a new bag all the better. So it was just let out that Lay apparently did not want to transfer but her mom wanted her to chase a bag. She entered the portal then tried to change her mind and go back to SC but Dawn said NO THANKS. That is why there was a big delay in the news and her official announcement.
So she probably ends up going to whoever pays her the most which is likely LSU or Tennessee imo. Were the only schools have not already over spent.
Agree. I’ve said before I think she wants at least one swing at the real McCoy with her hand chosen roster. I think we see system on steroids next season. I think the subbing is her favorite part of it, closely followed by the trapping D.She is more committed to her system than most realize, but your thought is of course possible, I doubt it though.
Cry "Wolf"...6-5 jersey wolfenbarger ... could be, may be, should beTaller than?
Jenna was doing this more and more during the SEC run,,,I tracked itShe is more committed to her system than most realize, but your thought is of course possible, I doubt it though.
