And the great thing about this is our freshman won’t have to lead the team. I’m not saying they aren’t capable - but our returning core and portal adds are more than capable of holding things down and as they get acclimated.

They can just hoop and play free with the support of vets.

Both UCLA and USC under utilized very talented freshman classes and lost them to the portal. You’ve got to get talented kids on the floor or they’re gonna go to the next highest bidder soon as the portal opens.

Unless you’re Dawn, Kim Mulkey or Geno you’re not gonna get away with not playing talented freshman. If you have multiple natties backing you up you get at least one season of leeway on that from players and parents.

Oh well there's still more out there. I don't know that we're not already set . A couple of 2 years eligibility players would make sense. Balance the roster out. Really don't know how many we lose next year.

Being reported Janiah will have offseason surgery so won’t be cleared until around October. Probably means she’ll have a bit of a slow start like Jewel. Hopefully she’ll be 100% by sec play.

Bummer she won’t be able to go 100% in offseason workouts.
