Im curious about y’all’s opinion on Aaliyah Del Rosario? I know she was recruited but aside from her lack of play time and injuries while at LSU. Would she benefit from CKC system of play? 🤔

She cannot run the floor required in the CKC system. So the answer is NO. But you knew that already, or should have. Peace.

Just being honest..... I've seen her inserted into several games and I can only remember It's two times when she impacted play.

I've heard several posters on this board say how great she's gonna be and how great she is.But I have not seen it

Oh, Hello…So you are saying Madi could play P4 ball somewhere in the right system? That is your “professional“ opinion? Nice. Hope she does well of course. Likely then, based upon your evaluation she will surface soon in a P4 program, they all are looking for that type of player. Good early evaluation by you……..Strong stuff indeed.

Okanawa is going to Maryland. Seems like a done deal. Already listed on their roster on 247sports

I think Barker is very much going to be in play for us. Seems like she’s taking her time and so are we. Which is good.

Hoping Judd had a great visit. She was apparently at Texas today so that’s a stinker. I think she’d have more of a role with us though. Phelia and Jordan Lee will both be back for Texas and I don’t think she’ll beat out either player.

Wells was starting to come around with her confidence when she got hurt two years ago. Had some setbacks in her rehab and was never able to be in condition to play in this system this year.

She is still going to have to win an appeal to get one of her years back in order to be eligible, but she is going to transfer to a new school so they can file that appeal.

DO you consider Holly and Kellie to be true "P4" coaches ( If they were they'd still be here)...I said she could have played in their systems,,,NO she is not a P4 player

I was at a game when Kellie was watching (recruiting) )Rosario. And Georgia coach (at that time) was watching (recruiting) Janah Barker ! Close enough to speak to both ….. Barker was the best athlete on that day and still is! Rosario is a 6’6” big with average skills with good ankles ! Don’t know about now as she played very little for Mulkey last year …Rosario could help Kellie or any of the bottom SEC teams… She would NEVER have been able to play in CKC’s system. Barker is perfect for this system because she is a good athlete but the mental ? I have heard negative comments, I don’t know .🤷‍♂️

I watched her the few times she played at LSU this year. Perhaps due to some injuries, she seemed to be even slower and looked more out of shape. I imagine she also lost some confidence related to her negative trajectory. She was occ. unfairly picked on by some LSU fans much in the same way Key was here, so it would be a mutual nightmare if she came here. It would be really good to see if she finds somewhere that runs a set offense that tries to get the ball to the center. Wish her the best.

Getting ready for another day of forum talks. Came across a bit of a perculiar post this morning.

One poster who would fail every fact check if this was national news, said they would feel more confident if Janiah Barker was signed which would show we are willing to pay for top players.

Make no mistake, I would welcome Barker to Rocky Top as a piece of an already elite roster. She’s not coming here to be the best player. The core is set and she could be one of the key players and a x-factor.

Her stats from three years in college, are similar to two of our current players all who were coveted and highly ranked top players out of HS in the same class as J. Barker.

Talaysia Cooper stats from one year are better than any season Janiah Barker has had in college.

The staff is going to add players, if one of them is Barker then I’ll support her. If it’s not, then I’m intrigued to see the players who are set to join the LVs.

At no point did anyone officially connected with Maryland indicate that Okananwa signed with the Terps. If anything, the consensus among Terp supporters is that since the player left College Park without a commitment, getting her to sign with the team was highly unlikely. In any case, Maryland announced the signing of a Slovenian point guard a couple of days after Okananwa's visit. That leaves the Terps with one open roster spot. At this point, the likelihood that Maryland brings in another high profile (i.e. high cost) player is probably small.
