Yes, they are one of the few schools that can get 1 or 2 all Americans out of the portal but that leaves nada for MBB there. They are completely uncompetitive to get players for the men's program. Their WBB program also reportedly passed on Chavez due to NIL What school gets a couple of all Americans this year with NIL being at it's zenith and still has a top 2 recruiting class? Also, which schools have a lot of All Americans that also have extremely popular top 10 teams in football, WBB, MBB, and Baseball? Most would agree that Tennessee's football support is second to none. Nonetheless, they have never had a top 5 recruiting class since NIL. Supporting several sports drains the budget.
