Be hard to catch up with taking players leaving because they were recruited over. We really need a difference maker center or forward that can rebound and shoot. That's if we plan on advancing beyond the sweet sixteen. We give up a lot down under the basket . Teams that can slow it down and work us inside will kill us with just Z and Latham getting in foul trouble.

Nah she’s streaky af. I want a darn consistent 3 pt shooter for a change.

Man, the West Coast is just nuts in the portal. Wonder if the new, brutal travel schedule is part of the problem.

Every player that leaves after the portal opens is not doing so because they were recruited over.
So just because for a week so we’ve seen this list about who is the Top players in portal doesn’t mean equally talented players can get in late.
I recall this staff having the #1/#2 ranked HS class in the early signing period and still do today. Some teams that weren’t even ranked at that time have since moving up as far as HS recruiting rankings.
So just because Tennessee hasn’t started to put it’s class together right now doesn’t mean the players they get were not quality transfers.

Just thinking of people that are available out there and fulfill a hole. Might not be my first choice and if there is someone out there who is a consistent three point shooter, I’ll take them.

I was surprised at first, too, but she's transferring because Vandy doesn't have her grad program/classes she needs.

Here's their recruiting class. No Hoopgurlz top 100 recruits but one of them was on the Australian U18 national team: Women’s Basketball Signs Three

I’d like the one from Utah. Unfortunately it looks like there’s a 75% chance she ends up playing against us.

I think Todd is the only decent player we have a chance with, but it’s between 2 teams that play a pressing style defense, but for us she’ll be subbed out constantly, and for Ohio State they let the players stay out there, interesting to see which style she wants to play.

I think she was a much better defensive player than anyone who is gone after this year and watching her in the tourney she looked like she was pretty quick. I haven’t seen her all of her defensive stats so maybe I missed something though.
