Yes but my point stands... it's not unrealistic expectations for us to see 8-10ppg this year at starting SG... The points will be higher at SF & PG & more post options as well. Just realistic expectations... If we got Rice I would have seen 12-14 at SG as a good bet...but Amaree is more glue guy type -he even said this...and Santi contributed to winning as another glue guy despite having a bad scoring year next to Knecht.Only getting 8 from SG was bad actually.
Gainey deserves an extra year unlike the CBM of the world. If he finds a way to get to play another year I think he will be an all SEC player. Not many players deserve it more he played his role at Tennessee. He’s solid, can get to the rim and shoot well. Better offensively than Mashack but not as good defensively. But yeah we do need more firepower on the wing…Gainey solves a lot of that but who knows what happens
Well, ⅓ of the roster (the backcourt) just for comparison's sake. I know you're just being silly, but to the point, I'm fine with our current frontcourt. I think we can win with them. But I think comparing Florida's backcourt of this past year to our potential backcourt for next year and calling it a wash is incredibly optimistic. So, you would trade our roster for the team that just won the national title (in the last unique year with 5+ year covid era players). Really going out on a limb there!![]()
