2025 Transfer Portal Thread

Prince was "just a guy" as a freshman , though. Averaged like 6 points and then blossomed as a SO. Listed at 215 lbs...I'm not sure when that weight was official, but it's 30 lbs heavier than Ament, which is significant and their height and weight. Hopefully Ament manages the physicality and/or adds 20 lbs this offseason.
Yeah and Kevin Durant was listed as 215 lbs in college... There's no way either were above 200lbs.

IMHO, a healthy JP > Carey.
Do we know that yet though is my only question. I want to agree something awful, cause JP came in knowing his minutes would be limited for a while, and still wanted/wants to be here. But on the flip side Carey is proven quality SEC guy and JP is still trying to prove his flashes.

JP might also be more limited to the 5 spot than Carey. Think Carey might be able to defend the 4 spot better.

Are the days of watching a player grow and develop in our program for 4 years completely over? I was holding out hope we might continue to have 1 or 2 each year, but it’s shaping up to be a near complete roster flip every season. As a spectator that makes the product much less appealing to me.
I do not think that we will. It might be sort of like a minor league baseball player drafted to minors and then trying to get to the majors. I do not see how Division 2 basketball will be able to survive the NIL. They will be more like baseball minor league. And the best players will only play one to two hours Div2 before benefiting from the NIL.

I believe he's yanking you o_O o_O o_O o_O
Nah, Cade is definitely maybe going into the portal if some unknown circumstances that possibly might happen take place.
If not, we definitely can't hold him responsible for telling us this certainly uncertain news when you consider the fact there are some unknown- unknowns floating around that may or may not conflict with the known unknowns we are and aren't necessarily aware of.
