I am starting to love the idea of Cade Tyson coming this year on a significant discount from asking price last year, played with Gil so we can still hold onto some of the continuity dreams we had with Rice lol. Granted, his year in chapel hill could have just shattered his ability to play, but there is real talent there if he can get out of his head.

Agreed. If Tyson is our last add, I’m all for it. But as things stand right now, we really need to find a starting caliber 2-guard. I’m not sure if he’s out there with the options remaining, but we need one.

That's what happens when you put all your eggs in one basket and he drags it out forever. We did the same thing with Chaz last year, but it went our way. This one didn't and now we're in a tough spot.

As you said, he’s highly undervalued, and Barnes knows his skills. I’d like to have him if his injuries are not chronic. Obviously they’ll do the diligence first. We’ll see where it goes.

I was not. There were some hurt feelings from him jumping ship last year, but he’s talking to assistant coaches and the door is open. That doesn’t mean we’ll sign him, but the odds are greater than 0.

Yeah, I think it’d be ideal to not have Ament as the primary scoring threat, at least in theory. He’s a freshman, take some of that pressure off of him.
