Players like Jordan and Bird ran their mouths because they knew with 100% certainty that they could back it up every game. But there really aren't that many players who can do that with the confidence those two had. Booker is a fine player, but she's not quite good enough to basically dare teams to try to stop her. Clearly SC showed her that.

I believe that I posted a singular comment, and perhaps a response to a response about the 1.1 fiasco; however, I don't recall changing any minds. Of course, I wished that those final free throws were converted, and/or the officials had seen the obvious double dribble. Oh well.

I was surprised to learn that the Athletic Director and Kellie hadn't conferred previous to her dismissal, but, taken in whole, there was indeed, justification for the firing, with that play being the final straw. I never believed that our Athletics Director was so determined to singe his very own brand onto Smokey's hide that he literally conspired to withhold NIL funds from Lady Vols Basketball, because, if exposed, such a deed would have cost Dr White the trust of All other coaches, campus wide. If there was a holding back, it was more likely because the deepest pockets truly had turned against Kellie; or, there was money available, but, after the Nico Purchase, and before Donde took on the world, the vultures were circling. Any real or perceived misstep could've brought the house down.
Nothing I say is meant to offend Coach Harper, or her most-devoted followers. I don't know her personally, but I really like her, and I was elated when she was hired. I was skeptical about the Coach from Marshall University. I actually hoped for Gonzaga's, or Grand Canyon's Coach. I'm praying for Lisa Fortier's return to full health, and looking forward to see how things go for likely, future SEC Coach, Molly Miller.

I’ll take your word for it, let’s see the position they are drafted and if Bree Hall can be a multiple time Conference Player Of The Year and a First Team All-Allmerican.Also let’s see who is drafted higher and who has a better pro career and we can get back to this discussion when that happens.

I get it you said Booker isn’t as great as some of the players Bree has Shut down. Bottom line who is the better player in your opinion, all I want is a name?

Booker made the statement...not Hall.

Of course Booker will have the better career, but she should have known better. Hall is plenty able to shut down someone like Booker. In three games against SC, with mostly Hall guarding her, Booker went a combined 14/54 (25%). It wasn't Bree's first rodeo against Booker, who averaged less than 5/18 shooting in those games. Bree tried to cash the checks Booker was writing with her mouth but they all bounced.

How do we know what Booker said, wouldn’t believe anything that comes out, let me change what I was going to say. But I haven’t seen any video proof so who knows. Let’s see what happens if they play again on a true neutral site.

Of course you know we are specifically talking about Bree's defense on Booker since it was Booker who said to Bree Hall, "You can't fu***** guard me." Until she did.

I haven't read anyone (nor have you) here suggesting Bree is the better player overall. What I have read (and so have you) is people discussing the FACT that Bree Hall proved she actually COULD "fu***** defend" Booker. At least so far. Next time they meet, who knows? Maybe Booker will dominate Hall. But she caused Hall to go extra hard at her on Sunday. Fact.

I don’t watch Sc games unless they play my team or my favorite players, so I don’t know what went on in the matchup, could have been one on one, team defense or just a bad shooting night. Will Bree Hall be there next year when they play Juju?

They played three times. It wasn’t a one off thingy. Again, Booker averaged less than 5/18 shooting in those three games.

JuJu is on another level than Booker and I think we all know she doesn’t engage in or bother with that kind of talk, she doesn’t need to. Hall graduates after this season, so no she will not be there.
