2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

I just now noticed that you were a mod.

They could use the word “Nancy” but they choose “Negas”. I’ve even seen it spelled Negga, on here. Why the extra g?

So go ahead and give THAT explanation if it makes you feel vindicated.
I’m aware of the overwhelming demographic of this forum. All good…
“The overwhelming demographic of this forum”

The side against generalizations and assumptions does it again.

Stop being such a nega.

I mean in regards to the system, going to Auburn and being in the offense he's been in for years makes more sense than going to a school / coach that has lost the offensive shine that his current coach made is gravy off of.

There is just no real upside for Brown to go to Tennessee to a completely new coaching staff vs going to Auburn with a staff and head coach he has spent the last 3 years with.
Curious. Golesh runs the Heupel scheme doesn't he? If so, wouldn't the transition at UT be nearly as easy as Auburn? If Aguilar can learn enough and do what he did in such a short period of time never having been exposed to Heupel's master offensive plan, surely Brown can do equally as well if not better just because of having more time to learn/rep?

Sure but he’s been with Golesh for 3 years.

Going to Tennessee would require a learning curve. One thing Gaston Moore talked about going to USF from Tennessee was how dumbed down the offense had gotten from Golesh’s time there. Brown here would have to have the offense tailored to him in one offseason. Brown to Auburn would be business as usual like the past 3 seasons.

It just makes no sense and there is zero upside for a guy to leave his head coach of 3 years at South Florida who’s going to Auburn and taking him along.

Brown at Auburn is gonna have a super long leash with Golesh in his first year. Can’t say that at Tennessee. Plus there are many many more better QB’s in the portal
