2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

The times he face pure pass rushers they ran right around him. He does a good job if you are trying to bull rush him tho which is why I prefer him inside. The sacks/pressures he gave up at RT were all speed rush moves. BTW, we will be fine with him at RT tho.
I THINK we gave up 9 sacks as a team in the games he started at RT. 4 of those to Bama, 3 of those 4 to Pierre. Have to go back and rewatch who those were against. Most of the sacks we gave up through the Ky game were to LBs or secondary.

I just don’t remember him giving up much pressure or many sacks at RT. Admittedly I wasn’t focused on him throughout games.

Perry was one like Ty Redmond. Young guy thrown in the fire and told to survive. While had some issues, he had a lot of promising play this year. Very good foundation to build upon.

This was like perfect year for select positions to have young guys get told to sink or swim.

Goes to show how hard it is to get good o-line talent from the portal. We are okay with letting Heard walk and already he is the top lineman in the portal.

So hard to build any depth in this era. No sec caliber player is going to want to come and sit behind two underclassmen tackles in Perry and Sanders.

Really hope that Satterwhite develops into a starting center.

Well, guess we need an OT from the portal as well. Highly unlikely they will role with Osenda at RT.

Edit: forgot about moving Perry to RT. I think he is better fitted for guard but that's probably where they go. Would mean Sham is at LG, wouldn't mind an IOL from the portal.
Hoping Max Anderson decides to stay now

This is a great point. I don’t think it’s as much of a TN issue as it is a CFB issue.

Our depth chart looks a lot better than LSU and Auburns right now

I'm not saying he cant play RT, he did a fine job there this year. I think I mainly want him inside so we can push Sham to the bench and have him and Moe help Pendleton on the inside lol.

Sham showed a lot of promise and stepped up when called upon imo. Wasn’t perfect, but I think he has a chance to take a big step this offseason and be a big piece for us next year.

Everyone’s pushing the limits. You don’t know what they are until you’ve met them. Heard just found out from us and I’d venture to say will also from the market. Nobody is gonna pay him power 4 starting qb money.
