2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

He did bc we didnt face any speed rushers doing that period. He struggles with speed rushers. More worried about the interior of the oline for next year.
Not trying to be argumentative, genuinely curious why you think he struggles with speed rushers?

My guess, and it's strictly a guess, is they feel like they have a guy (Ginther?) Who can give us what Warren did last year and Perry and Sanders is as good or better than what we had this year AND it saves us money.

This is a NFL style roster move. For better or worse, this is how it's going to be.

Worst case scenario, which obviously isn't bad. I think we really need Satterwhite to take center from Pendleton. He's much more physically gifted and Pendleton is better at guard.
I want to replace Pendleton at C, but what little I saw of Satterwhite, he looked really out of shape and like he had concrete in his shoes. Maybe new S&C guy can fix some of that.

Same, brother, same. IF we make a good QB addition and add some real pieces on defense, I'm good with moves like this. In theory, it frees up cap space for what we really need. But if these are just money ball moves? Wheeeew, it's going to be a long offseason.

The times he face pure pass rushers they ran right around him. He does a good job if you are trying to bull rush him tho which is why I prefer him inside. The sacks/pressures he gave up at RT were all speed rush moves. BTW, we will be fine with him at RT tho.

I remember Sanders getting beat more than him. When was Perry struggling like this?

Yea i thought Pendleton was our worse lineman this past season. Any inside pressure or missed block between the tackles was on him. Next was Sham lol.

I will be pleasantly surprised if Ginther can take an injury on an extra point as well as Warren did.

That said, we haven’t heard much about him but I had high hopes for him coming in. Maybe the staff thinks he is an OT and he is our swing guy there next year? Seems to be a body type that could play T or G.

How is Nic Moore progressing? Could he be C next year?
Ogumora looks athletic if he can figure out what he’s doing so he could be good depth and rotation at G

Sanders struggled opposite with with Perry struggled with. With Sanders it was bull rush/strength. He just needs to get stronger. He got pushed back to much. Perry was with speed, good thing was he didnt face alot of those types of pass rushers early in the season.
