I don't agree...thought he did well when given the chance. Time will tell.

I’m not gonna sit here and say I focused on the OL all game every game lol. I will pay more attention when I notice certain players come into the game. First time Pendleton went out with injury was when I noticed Satterwhite. It was fairly early in the season, and he did look better the couple snaps I saw him play in later games after that.

Pet peeve. Am I crazy or did commentary guys used to inform their listening audience when players would come and go in the game? Now all they want to do is hear themselves talk. Give me pertinent info about the game, during the game.

But I wonder how long till Simpson enters the portal.

I remember seeing something about his injury being worse than what was being talked about. He gets hurt tonight. I don’t think a lot of GMs are going to take him in the early rounds, weak QB draft or not.

I wonder if that also puts us in the drivers seat.

Do we want him or do we want someone else if this does happen?

He was an assistant DB Coach at Ohio St that helped develop their secondary. Huge upgrade over Martinez. I'll trust Knowles on this.

I'm not saying he cant play RT, he did a fine job there this year. I think I mainly want him inside so we can push Sham to the bench and have him and Moe help Pendleton on the inside lol.

• January 2-16, 2026: Main Transfer Window (for entering the portal).
• January 1-5, 2026: Quiet Period for Mid-Year Enrollees: Athletes enrolling mid-year can use this time for campus visits (unofficial/official) as coaches can host them, but off-campus contact is restricted.
• January 5-31, 2026 (with exceptions): Quiet Period: Generally, no off-campus contact, but on-campus visits are allowed, with exceptions like Jan 12-14 (Dead Period).
• Spring Window Eliminated: The traditional spring portal window is gone.
• Coaching Change Exception: Players affected by coaching changes get a 15-day window, but only if the change happens after Jan 2, with a five-day wait after a new coach is hired.

Hope so. Though his stats say he’s big enough, his body still looks to me like there’s room to add mass. Would love to see him put on another 15 of good weight.
