Looks like Colo coach is still available

I’m trying to put her in every job but ours. JR is great but she is not a hire I would be stoked about.

Would be a very similar “cautiously optimistic” approach just like I had with Kellie.

She has potential to be a true lock down defender. She had a couple plays as a freshmen where she forced a 10 second violation on her own. They were some of my fav plays that season.
She’s maybe 5’4” and doesn’t require anyone to guard her on offense.

Honestly? She kinda needs to knock it off.

There is plenty of time and the new coach will sort things out. Next year might be rough but we were already looking at a rough season.

There is not a single player in the portal that would have made next years team better than this years at this point. Sorry, not sorry.

If you couldn’t get beyond the second round with Rickea Jackson do we really think Ajae Petty was taking us further?
Idk - If they hire Walz I see him keeping her on staff. She was his longtime recruiter.

I guess Van Lith and Sulky Mulkey clashed heads one too many times. Van Lith will likely wait and see who wins this year's national championship before committing. She seems to chase success in a weird way.
I don't think it's a matter of clashing heads. I think that HVL knew she wasn't thriving under Kim, and it was time to move on. I doubt she tries to chase SC, UConn or NC State though. It would just be more of the same. She would be better off going back to Louisville.

Yes I’ve said the same. He has also tried to woo her back to Louisville since she left so very good chance he would keep Sam on staff if hired.
And she is good at developing guards and bringing them in - AD Durr, Dana Evans, and Mykasa Robinson at Louisville and Jasmine Thomas, and Karima Christmas and somewhat Chelsea Gray at Duke. So - if there's is anyone on that staff I'd retain it's her and our sports medicine director Casi Dailey - the speedy return from injuries/lack thereof this season was notable.

Maria Cornelius on the Summitt posted that she had stories written that Maddie Scherr ( KY ) and Ruby Whitehorn ( Clemson ) both were coming to Tennessee prior to firing of Coach Harper and that it looked iffy if a new coach is not signed soon and jump on them quickly .

Both of them are mediocre guards in the ilk of what is over there on the Hill now so I would just as soon that they be passed over for better products.

Yeah having a hard time seeing how that is a problem.

Whitehorn is a player that could help our roster but she needs a lot of work. She’s not a Day 1 program changing transfer. Would likely have been coming off the bench at UT.

Scherr’s star has faded. She would be smart to stay at Kentucky and take advantage of her last season with a new coach and some better teammates. She just isn’t that good or impressive. She’s also had a lot of minor injuries over the years that seem to have collectively hampered her game. Just doesn’t look as athletic out there as she once did.

Again, likely a player that would have been coming off the bench for us. Would not probably have beaten Coop or Spear out of any the guard rotations and Puckett will start for as long as she’s at Tennessee due to her size and versatility.

Maddie Scherr is 100% allowed here.

She can be the worst player to ever walk this earth, but we haven’t had a Kortney Dunbar in a minute.

I’d have a reason to go to the games
