They want to perfect their techniques…not self diagnose if they’re supposed to be hearing their brain pulses.

Everybody wants them to be perfect but ya can’t be perfect if your strapped to an oxygen tank on the sideline

You need a water break? Water is for cowards. Lol
“I once walked cross the Sahara with a mouthful of squirt! Got to the other side, spit it into a cup, took a dip and walked back! And you’re having ‘heart palpitations’ and ‘seeing your dead MawMaw’! Get off my football field, NANCY!”

You can pace yourself in a game. Getting hospitalized in Summer doesn’t allow for even making it onto the field. No human gets “used” to roasting in the elements imo.

I really don’t understand the early practices.
They need to practice in the heat at some point or they’re going to be cooked in the 2nd quarter of a afternoon game.

Most kids are mentally sharper in the mornings. I would prefer AM practices. I see your concern, however.

Really? It looks like he played for Michigan in 2018, 2019, and 2020. How does he have three years left?
Was able to redshirt in 2018 due to only participating in 4 games, redshirt freshman season was in 2019 and 2020 didn’t count against his eligibility (Covid). One season of eligibility used…three remaining.

Not that it matters right now but Tennessee needs some mentally tough players. Players that don’t fold under the lights in late games. When the lights come on their focus needs to be laser sharp.

I agree with what you said but I think we’re traveling to the swamp this year. It’ll be brutal and unpleasant if they aren’t prepared.

This is a true statement. I’ve been a heat casualty. Training in it doesn’t make it any better and just hurts you in the long run.

Just from the practice reports, it seems like Bailey and Milton are the two most consistent players. I think it will come down to them. I'm surprised that we haven't heard more about Maurer, as he seemed to be the guy going into the Orange and White game. Obviously Bailey had the best day in that game, but still.

I love all this but it is disheartening to see so many dropped passes with no pressure

I think this is typical of a 3D practice. They come on juiced and focused first couple practices and practice 3 is generally more fatigued, hitting a bit of a wall. It gets better from here

Don’t know why you think that. Every media outlet pegged Maurer as last through Spring. Just because he “started” the O&W means nothing. Hooker actually went against the #1s the most
