Sure, people who want their student loans forgiven, people who want more affordable health care, people who want a restructured progressive tax system..............we're talking millions of people who could see Bernie as being in the best interest of their pocket book. You honestly think pocketbook voters are going to split 50/50 for a socialist revolution in America ?
I wouldn’t call Hillary or Bloomberg a commie, Hillary would do anything to get elected and with Bloomberg outside of his anti gun stance he has to be thinking “how in the hell did I end up with this group”You would have hated FDR. You all call anyone including Hillary and Bloomberg a Commie. And those are practically center right politicians.
I love this though. If you don't believe it, you won't prepare.
I want Bernie to be the underdog, makes the election easy for us.
I hope you vote Bernie in the primary since you think it will be an easier election for Trump.

Wow what a waste..my school had lots of blue collar ready jobs...I ran the school store and learned how to ready the registers and order stock so I could do pretty much what our grocery managers were doing at 17..we also got to leave school at lunch if we had a job...times sure have changedIt's starting to come back but for the last 15-20 years for the most part no.
Back in my hometown the county built a state of the art "industrial arts" facility at our HS in 84 or so. It had commercial grade wood working, welding and automotive facilities. They also offered cosmetology which lead to being licensed at graduation. When they built the new HS about 10 years ago they demolished the industrial arts facility and stopped offering any of those courses.

I don't think that the people understand that the banks are going to get paid. They aren't writing off trillions of dollars. That means the taxpayers will be paying the financial institutions. I don't think they get it.Why should student loans be forgiven? Why not credit card debt, mortgages, or IRS debts?

We need to model our high schools after Germany. If you want in Germany, the last two years of high school you can participate in an apprenticeship program for various trades. When you graduate you can get a good paying, stable job. I've always thought that is one European plan we should copy.We could leave HS as an ASE certified mechanic, two years into a welding apprenticeship (I think the same for electrician) or a licensed cosmetologist.
