Step 2: Repeat many failures of past presidents and nations... End up with even worse version of Trump. The simple way to prevent populism from taking root is to solve the problems that causes populism.

Trump is the product of a ruling class that has failed.

I primarily focus on the fact that he is an horrendously despicable human who is an embarrassment to the country.

Not at all. Trump won because of a status quo that kept screwing its own people. He won because wages have been stagnant, jobs were outsourced, and the ruling elite passed trade deals that purged the middle class.

The inequity of wealth distribution is the issue. Trump is making that worse.

And he has fixed none of it. Wages are still stagnant, jobs are outsourced daily, and the rich still control everything. His type is a worrying trend that is starting to spread worldwide. Look at the UK, they have decided to go with a Trump type even though they should know better, especially with the failure of our own idiot. Trump-like leaders are spreading throughout Europe. Proto-fascism is on the rise. Terrifying times we live in really, slowly heading to fascism.

Wealth is not finite, and actually.... Life is not fair lol. I have a new batch of questions then.

1) How do we clear this gap?
2) Why is it that lower class incomes are going up?
3) Why does it matter if the rich is getting richer... If the poor is also making more money?
4) Name some countries where pure equity exists...

What is proto-fascism? In what piece of legislation is Trump either restricting speech or taking away firearms? What sector of the economy is Trump trying to nationalize?

Fascism: is a form of radical right-wing, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.

I really need an explanation how Trump is doing any of this?

Do you ever stop and think about how ridiculous you sound? All the ranting and raving that makes no sense, why not offer up valid examples to illustrate your points rather than doing the whole "Trump bad" thing. What exactly has Trump done that's ruining our country? And being a pompous jackass doesn't count, we're talking policy.

I'd be very interested in how he is suppressing the Democrats, how he's regimenting society, or being an actual authoritarian. Having a big loud mouth does not make you a tyrant.

He has talked about limiting free speech that disagrees with him. He's talked about staying in office beyond his term. He's fomenting hatred and divisiveness by his attacks. He bent the knee to Russia. Not sure what else you need to see for what he is trying to do.
