John Lewis is trash. Doesn’t say anything good about you for voting for him, let alone being proud to have voted for him.

Why was it an honor?

The obvious reason: he's a civil rights icon, will be an historicl figure.

More importantly: he is a good and decent man.

Could make him a decent politician, but I honestly think he's been in Congress too long (like a lot of sitting Reps these days)

Voting for him because of what he did during the civil rights era isn't exactly a good reason to vote for him. Do his policies align with yours?

Lol, he boycotted an inauguration because his candidate lost. He led a sit in and ordered pizza while singing a children’s song. He also didn’t pay his property taxes on his DC townhouse. Yeah, he’s a good and decent man.

That's pretty funny. How many times have I seen Trump blamed on Hilary? Trump won because he's not Hilary. Many dems will win because they're not Trump.

That's a tenuous strategy though in a good economy. They have to articulate some sort of agenda.

Not sure which hair you're splitting, but I would think most people vote based on a combination of policy and character (even though 2016 throws that into question).
