Celtics traded Davis to Memphis, Huff.
Teams that stood out to me in the draft
Rockets - Onuaku at 37 is probably the best pick in the draft, signed GPII
OKC - obviously
Minn. - obviously
Bulls - DV
Brooklyn - LeVert at 20 is a great pick
Jazz - I think Bolomboy will be a solid player for 6-8 years and they got him at 52
Hawks - Teague for Prince seems like a big loser, but then I like Bemberey and Felder picks
Suns - Bender is unknown and Chriss can't seem to play. Ulis is a good pick
Golden St - the Jones pick is OK, but I really like Patrick McCaw
Toronto - Poltl and Siakam were both very good picks #moneyball
Celtics - I hate the J Brown pick but DD is a good pick at 31
I hate the Rockets. I couldn't even bring myself to like them when they had my favorite player (Barkley).
I think it's their uniforms. Literally, nobody looks cool in them.
Then the Celtics had basically the worst draft possible.
I can't understand how they screwed this up. They should have traded some of their picks for an established player. Ainge should have made that happen. The only explanation I can think of that makes sense is teams knew they were desperate to trade picks, so they got low-balled by everyone.
Just a terrible outcome. The only saving grace is that 2019 pick from Memphis could be a lottery pick
Everybody I talk to is either saying Simmons will bust, or they're gushing over him and lamenting the Sixer's trading him in 2017 or whenever he starts dominating
Sixers have a history of trading beloved stars. Moses, Chuck, AI
The young people here are mostly upset about Hinkie being canned. The old people hated his guts.Oh ok thought you were talking about recent history with the process type stuff.....hopefully the new regime won't follow our history of having a superstar.... Filling around him with very marginal to below marginal guys and then blaming it on the superstar and trading him. I would have more confidence if Hinkie was still here.... He was a smart man.
