I've got no problem with any of that.

On Oct. 15, 2016, Alabama will come in as the #1 team in the country. Tennessee after a string of impressive victories over Florida, Georgia, and A&M will be ranked #2. College Gameday will be there. Fans will checkerboard the stadium. It will be billed as the game of the century.

Tennessee starts of the game like gangbusters. Goes up 17-0 in the first half. Tennessee fans are however on edge remembering the same lead against Oklahoma just a year ago. Alabama fights back in the second half. Game is tied 17-17 going into the 4th.

Going back and forth, Tennessee goes up 20-17 with 5 minutes left. Reminiscent of the game in Tuscaloosa just a year ago. Alabama storms back down the field and scores a TD to take a 24-20 lead with less than 3 minutes to go.

Dobbs gets the ball with 2:30 left on the clock and engineers a 80 yard drive culminating in a Ethan Wolf TD with less than 30 seconds to go. This is remembered as his Heisman moment. Tennessee goes up 27-24. However, Medley, kicks the ball out of bounds in an attempt to squib kick putting the ball at the 40 for Alabama. Alabama completes 2 passes to set up a 49 yard FG.

Off the upright.

Tennessee wins.

...hmm

that sure is a lot of points...on every game

Not really.

It only comes out to an average of 45.2 ppg.

We averaged over 35 ppg last year against a tougher schedule and with less talent.

We'll be much better passing the ball in 2016. Throw in a better defense that will give us more possessions and I think 45 ppg will be very possible next year.

Are you drunk all the time or just before you create a thread? Because honestly I can't tell a difference.

Defense will give up only 12.3 ppg.

#1 scoring defense in the country.

Bob Shoop will be the top name for every job opening.

I would love to see it, but the Vols have far too many questions for me to buy into to an undefeated season at this point. Therefore, this prediction is indeed possible but NOT very likely. If UT starts 4-0, I will be surprised. If they get to 7-0, that would indeed be a shock.

But, like they say everyone is undefeated in the preseason, and your prediction is just that, another preseason prediction that really doesn't mean much. GBO!

You're a little more optimistic than me D4H but I'm not far away from you.

Nov. 12 vs Kentucky 48-13(W)

Nov. 19 vs Missouri 37-10(W)

Nov. 26 at Vanderbilt 44-14(W)

Dec. 3 vs LSU (SEC Championship) 27-17(W)

Dec. 31 vs Clemson(CFP Peach Bowl) 23-26(L)

12-2 overall record. Making the 4 team playoff would be a great accomplishment. I would like for us to win it all too but facing a team like Clemson or Ohio State would be too tough I think. Can we beat either of those teams?

Yes, but I think we fall short. We get the right matchup in the 4 team playoff & get 3 other teams in that a couple that weren't expected then look at. We could win it all afterall. GO VOLS!
