2016 Election

She won't be in prison but she will be indicted. Everything right now points to Trump being the next president.

If she is indicted after the primary then she will have to drop out then Joe Biden will be appointed the nominee without having to do anything.

Why do people think Trump would beat HRC in a general election? Ain't gonna happen. RINO guys that Trumpsters have been bashing aren't gonna show up to the polls and those that do will not be universally voting for the GOP. HRC already carries that traditional Dem states with ease and in a swing state like Ohio I think Trump would get decimated.

Pretty much this. I doubt she gets indicted but yeah Biden would just replace her and win with ease vs Trump.

clearly he will be the nominee but I dont think he will beat hillary unless she is in prison by the time the general happens

When it comes down to Trump and Hillary, and the American people see Hillary's face and they see her wearing her Chairman Mao suit every day, Trump is going to win handily. Trump will get millions of Angry democrat votes. It will Not be close.

No they won't, they always fall in line unless you think Trump is truly a Democrat

I'm a Cruz guy and will vote for him in Florida. But he has made mistakes and those have hurt him. After Iowa, he should've have done far more to reach out to Libertarian voters in general and Rand Paul voters specifically. Instead, he continued in an overly-narrow focus on evangelical voters.

A large part of Cruz's message should have been about religious, social, and economic freedom and the threat the establishment poses against those freedoms and the Bill of Rights. This message would have been well-received on both religious and secular fronts.

His decision to focus his efforts on the evangelical voter have boxed him in much the same way they got Huckabee in the previous election cycles.

Another thing that turns people off about Cruz is his need to convince people he is the smartest man in the room at all times. This leads to lengthy answers in debates and lengthy speeches after campaigns that people tend to tune out. Trump and Rubio understand the importance of the short sound-byte. Cruz has yet to get it.

The other thing is this: you can't engage in Marquess of Queensbury rules in a hockey brawl. You can put yourself on a pedestal and proclaim yourself above the fray. But that doesn't do you any good when Dave Schultz or Bob Probert shows up to jack your jaw with either his fist or his CCM stick.

You aren't going to win votes in a nasty election getting your ass kicked by the goon in an effort to look "presidential." Your side will feel sorry for you. But that will not win you any extra support. If playing nice won this kind of election, then Ben Carson would be leading in a landslide.

I voted early for Cruz, and I agree with everything that you said about him. I heard Cruz go on and on after the New Hampshire primary results were in. Boring. Once again, your analysis is spot on. For the record, I will vote for Trump if he makes it all the way.

I'm pretty sure Trump would govern as a centrist. I have no faith that spending will be reined in or even slowed under his presidency.

Agree. The upside could be that he is good for the economy and we grow our way to a reduced deficit but he ain't no Rand Paul.

In my opinion, this is an extremely important election. If Hillary gets elected, the chances of this country undoing all the damages that have occurred will become slimmer. Also, I think it's going to be very difficult to elect a conservative in the future if we keep electing liberals who are socialists. I don't know if Trump would do well as president or not, but if he's the nominee, I'm voting for him because I've seen what people like Hillary want to do to this country. I'm strongly opposed to seeing "the fundamental transformation of America".

I will vote for any of them to stop HRC. Her attention to her own convenience and enrichment have come at the cost of people working in service to this nation overseas.

The fear I think we share about Trump is what we think might happen. We might be wrong.

The fear we share about Hillary Clinton is based on what we know about her and her past actions.

She is an evil, failed, and corrupt commodity: the Aaron Burr of our times.

Again - I could see what are referred to as Reagan Democrats coming over to Trump.

I don't see millions plus I think that term really doesn't exist anymore. That party is far far left. Those people have already left to become a R or followed that group off the left wing cliff.

Trump is at this minute having a discussion with Pat Robertson!

Trump says he will get rid of Many of King Obama's executive orders the day he takes oath of office.

The first two executive orders he will rescind are the executive orders on the 2nd amendment and immigration.

That was 35 years ago..have the demographics stayed the same? I remember that time, I was in middle school civics and we talked alot about Reagan vs Mondale..Reagan won every state but Minnesota..I can't see that happening again.

I don't see something like that (or 1980 and 1988 for that matter) happening in my lifetime barring some political reorientation. The country is too polarized.

Trump going through his list of groups and saying "I love the poorly educated!" was the highlight of the night.

Is this a problem? Poor people want to be loved & acknowledged. Poor & "poorly educated" people are (imo) pretty nice, and they want people to like them. Especially a rich TV star. You know there was a reality star 2000 years ago who also loved poor people. Hillary and the rest of the establishment don't want to be caught dead with these people. That's why he is... Winning
