There is a difference in voting for Trump because of his alleged liberal tendencies and him flipping voters because of how great it's going to be.
Protectionists. And saying protectionists hate foreigners is like saying opponents of Obama are racist.
Globalisation has happened, people should get over it. Protectionism is a ridiculous - you only become prosperous in this world if there is true free trade. I think maybe one of the only areas that you'll find where Friedman and Krugman were in agreement was their unequivocal opposition to protectionism. Not sure how many Dems are 'protectionists' per se and will vote for Trump on that basis - I'd hazard a guess that the total is negligible.
Do you want another liberal justice on the Supreme Court? Vote for Trump.
Pretty simple.
Rubio is the only viable path to not getting a liberal Supreme Court justice.
As a foreigner I'm more interested in economic and foreign policy. But I have studied American politics since university and having another liberal justice would be intolerable to most conservatives in America.
Yea man like W did such a bang up job with his picks. Meirs? Roberts? You want me to vote for the backup plan to Ws awkward brother? Not happening
Yep, but I think folks are angrier this cycle. Serious anger across ideologies. And sometimes decisions made in anger are not the wisest.

I agree. And I've honestly never seen the country, much less political parties, this divided in my lifetime. And that division has caused serious anger on all fronts. And you are correct that is shows in the candidates being put forward and the dirty nonsense going on. I mean, who would have ever expected:
A businessman
An avowed socialist
Two first term Senators
And a media Mogul (considering)
All running for President?
