2015 NBA Playoff Thread

The Grizz just aren't able to stop the warriors offense. They still have another opportunity to steal game two on the road though. Games 3 and 4 in Memphis should be very good.

The Bulls and the Cavs series could be very interesting with Love out for several months with an injury. If the bulls play well and win one Of the first two games of the series, they have a great opportunity to advance to the ECC. We will see.

Steph Curry is the 2015 MVP.

One of the greatest shooters ever if not the greatest. Til this day I'd still take Reggie over Ray but I'd be tempted to take Curry over both. Dude is sick, doesn't miss. Sometimes the Warriors don't even need to set up and run their offense and not because Curry decided to take it the basket on a break but because he chooses to pull up for a 3 instead. He does it like it's nothing and there's nothing his defender can do about it as he's trying to keep pace to the basket with Curry. Curry has already pulled up and is about to let go as the defender is trying to plant his feet and turn back to contest it. Leaves Curry with a wide open 3 attempt. He's a beast, wonder how long it's been since he last let nerves get to him. He sure doesn't feel em anymore.

The refs handed Harden and the Rockets lots of regular season wins against cupcake teams. The dude shoots 44% from the field. Not MVP material.

Oh, and you can forget winning any game in this series where Conley doesn't play. The Grizz are the equivalent of a 40 win team without Conley.

Steph is awesome, but I'd still take Reggie as shooter...just because it's Reggie and I loved that dude. No homo...well maybe a little Also...**** Ray Allen.

Ugh that's because he shoots a ridiculous amount of threes. Go look at his ef% and ability to finish at the rim.

Really now? He dragged a decrepit roster to a division title in by far the toughest division in the NBA.

The wild Wild West in the nba.

Without harden and no Beverly I don't see the rockets finishing as high as they did. There is also the very slim Howard but he can't carry the team all on his own.

My dad brought him up as a potential free agent pick up for okc, I chuckled lol

I think Rockets are a lot better than people give them credit for. Without Harden, they'd be screwed because the whole offense works because of his dribble penetration, but it also works because he has a bunch of guys around him that can spread the floor, defend, and rebound. They're like 9 deep with solid bodies right now. Josh Smith is playing his best ball in 5 years.

Rockets aren't a bad team at all. Howard isn't quite as dominant as he could be, but he doesn't need to be. Josh Smith is finally playing some good basketball, I hardly recognized him at times this season. T. Jones is really solid, does a lot of things very well. Last year he was destroyed by Lamarcus in the playoffs, but this season he improved outside of health issues. Beverly is one of the most underrated point guards in the league imo. They have some decent role players that can have big games every once in a while too.

I disagree on Aldridge vs Jones. Aldridge torched everyone on the Rockets, including Asik....for 3 games. He was terrible in the other 3 games. I don't think you can really judge Jones' defense based on that series.

Also, anybody notice how bad LA was this time around? He shot 18+ times per game and all 5 games his FG% was between 27% and 38%
