2015 NBA Finals Thread

Lebron will average somewhere around 35-12-9, GS goes cold a couple of games, and Lebron dances on the sidelines as time expires in game 5. Somewhere top will be throwing a fit as he watches reruns of the Malice at the Palace. This will probably be easier than the Bulls series honestly.

I was close, except he's got 41.5-12-9 so far.

Well, at least one Warriors fan has a reason not to off himself tonight.

I mean LBJ is averaging 42-12-9 and people are still hating on the guy. Only other player who gets this kind of treatment is Peyton MF Manning. People are idiots.

If Klay doesn't sit in the 1st half, this would be a loss.
Cleveland still has a lot of work to do.

Nobody is 'hating' on the dude. If his fans would stfu about him being the best ever x10000000, others might be more willing to give him credit.

It wasn't just that sequence. Its seems like it's been worse tonight than usual. He's always somewhat demonstrative when the calls go against him, but I don't recall seeing him like this.

He's playing in the Finals and he's getting less respect from the refs than any superstar player I've ever seen. And I've been watching the NBA since the 70s. I agree that it gets old watching him complain, but at this point I don't really blame him.

They're mugging him in the post and on drives.

My father said the same thing.

He's shooting bad but it's hard for me to blame him considering what he has right now. Now Steph going 5-23 with Matthew Dellevedova (I know he's actually pretty solid) guarding him........

Half the fouls on Shaq could've been flagrant. Its just a part of being physically dominant.

I went into the series not really caring who won. I'm full on The Warriors bandwagon, Cavs fans are so ****ing annoying.

He's a really good defender. He will keep that up, the difference will be Steph hitting more shots.

His defense will probably keep Curry in check to some extent, but I'll be shocked if he turns in another shooting performance as awful as tonight.

Why does the fact that he's playing great mean everyone should be pulling for him?

Those are usually the players I pull against depending on what team they play for. Like, Kobe, Rose, Lebron, Melo etc, yuck. They play on big market teams and I don't like big market teams. Durant, Curry, Davis, heck... even, Cousins are the guys I like. They don't represent the worst fan bases in sports. Just like I don't like Florida and Alabama fans for instance, I feel the same way about big market teams and their fans more often than not as well. Tom Brady? Screw that dude. Albert Pujols? Get bent. And to me, part of my dislike for them is their fan base. The larger the market the worse the fans tend to be. Probably because there's more of them.

Still, I can't really think of large market teams I can stand. Even fan bases that win it all tend to become jackasses. Like Saints and Seahawks fans(I'd still choose them over Patriots), I pulled for them against teams like the Pats, Steelers etc. because their fan bases have nothing on those other jerks. But when they won their titles, I will say their fans became jackasses. Winning seems to bring out the worst in people for some reason. Look at Vanderbilt fans, I used to feel sorry for them but now they can gft.

I went in rooting for Cavs. Not anymore. I know why Wilt was such a salty bastard now. People have no respect for the history of the game.

True but he took horrible shots all night. He played horrible.

I've got the owner where I work and his son texting me, acting like the Cavs just won game 7 against the Monstars. I may get fired soon cause my texts would catch a VN ban.
