2015 NBA Finals Thread

True but he took horrible shots all night. He played horrible.

He **** the bed like I thought he might. If he keeps doing it, Cavs can win. If he gets his head straight, Warriors win.

I've got the owner where I work and his son texting me, acting like the Cavs just won game 7 against the Monstars. I may get fired soon cause my texts would catch a VN ban.

That **** is why I hated Jordan when I was a kid. Only difference is, it happened every. Single. ****ing. Year.

See what I'm saying?

It's the fans that turn me on these star players. Ben doesn't have anything to do with me dislike Lebron, I actually like Ben... mostly haha. But seriously, spending time on forums and reading comments the way we do, I see what a lot of these people say and I'm just like yep, not gonna be cheering for them to get their way. To be fair, Lebron's decision is partially what turned me on him. Then obviously he was a rival of my favorite team. But the Lakers and Kobe or the Celtics back with the Big 4, those players never actually did anything to not make me hate them. It's their fan base that did. The fans made me hate the Lakers and Celtics and because I hated the Lakers and Celtics, I also hated their players.

Maybe it's not the best system but hey, it makes watching games more interesting. The odds of your favorite team making the finals for most isn't very good but teams like those had a good chance. And the underdogs playing the spoiler is always fun. And if it ends up with two teams I hate, I just don't even watch. Not kidding when I say I didn't watch the Packers-Steelers Super Bowl or Cardinals-Red Sox World Series. I was going to lose regardless because I hate both teams.

Nobody is more annoying than TOP. You just hate LeBron. ; )

Ha.

Lebron fans might think that. If you go read the ESPN comment sections, every non Cav/Lebron fan rips him harder than I do here. It's not even close. How often do I bring up Delonte West sexing Lebron's mom? Those people want to eat Lebron's soul. If you think I'm worse than them, you should check out the ESPN comment section. And if you ever saw their forums before they switched to FB, troll city.

My father said the same thing.

He's shooting bad but it's hard for me to blame him considering what he has right now. Now Steph going 5-23 with Matthew Dellevedova (I know he's actually pretty solid) guarding him........

I'm not exactly an admirer of LeBron, but as someone who watched Jordan's whole career, it seems incredible how James can drive the basket, get hacked across both arms, and not get it called more than once in the same game. Jordan might have had one call per series like that go against him, at most -- at which point he'd wave his arms around and show up the ref just like James does now. All I can figure is that LeBron is so big and strong that the refs are subconsciously penalizing him and ignoring the contact he takes.

It will be interesting to see if we get to do two straight days in sports media on how badly Curry shot like we would if it had been LeBron.

Lol I defend the SOB too much to hate him. If you could see my texts, you would hate the Cavs. Its some Alabama type ish going on. Good thing the owner loves me, cause I would be fired.

At what point do you say the Cavs good defense is stifling the best offensive team in the league and it's not just a bad 2 game stretch? Just curious...

Wouldn't that take away from Lebron's credit? If they're winning with defense even though Lebron's missing 50 shots, then he's not even close to doing it alone as people are making it out to be. When talking about how good the defense is, you could start arguing that Thompson filling in for Love is an improvement. Not say still having Love wouldn't make the Cavs better because it's still another good player. Lebron didn't exactly do it by himself tonight because as you said, their defense.

He's not doing it alone. Nobody ever has or ever will do it alone.

He led the team in scoring, rebounding and assists.

He is initiating the overwhelming majority of their offense, whether running the point or playing in the post.

Well, to be fair... hating me would be as easy as jumping on the Lebron bandwagon. If you notice, people here give each other likes every time something demeaning is said about me. Hating me is the cool thing to do. You should join in, it's okay.
