Cleveland has been very fortunate this regular season and post season.
Their route to the finals consisted of playing in the worst conference in the history of sports. I'm only assuming that's the case, but I doubt it's very often(as in probably never) that you have 3 teams in one postseason, let alone the same half of the conference, make the playoffs with a record of .500 or worse.
Cavs probably miss the postseason in the west. Definitely don't make it to the finals out of the west. So if you want to talk about fortunate... how about a team playing in the finals due to their horrible conference when in reality, they probably wouldn't be in the postseason at all if they switched conferences. That's what you call fortunate. Weird that you call the Warriors fortunate during the postseason when they just keep doing what they've done all regular season. How is being the best team in the league, "fortunate", as you put it?
