2014 Damn NBA Playoffs Thread

SA in 6 games. Might be a bold prediction but I am making it. The Spurs will not let Miami win it all again, that much is for sure. I can't see SA losing back to back finals in a series that they have homecourt advantage. I will be damned if they do and would be absolutely horrible.

I still for the life of me can't get how Miami is beating teams with a 6'10 shooting guard at center. Its so ridiculous. These guys wouldn't have a chance in the 80s. The good news is that SA can use lineups to match up. They can put Duncan at Center and Diaw at PF. It will be better than anything the Pacers tried to throw at them. Spurs role players are younger than the heats also. Many guys are going into their last seasons while on SA, many have some good years left. I expect SA to take this in 6. Miami had a cakewalk this whole playoffs. Indiana fell apart, they should have lost earlier so I don't consider them a very hard opponent really. Washington if anything could have pushed Miami to 7 games and gave them a better series.

I thought I witnessed a cosmic event event earlier, but turns out that black hole was just the suckage that is the OKC Thunder. Their fans must be absolutely heartbroken. Thank God there's not too many of them out there.

Heat will win again. Probably in seven, but depends on how bad Parker is hurt. If he has to miss games in the finals, it might end for the Spurs even sooner.

When Bosh is hitting 17 footers, the Heat are unbeatable. It creates spacing and pulls whatever big is guarding him away from the basket, giving James and Wade free run at the rim.

If you think Washington could've pushed Miami, you're either basketball illiterate or extremely naive.

Maybe...just maybe LBJ will finally break .500 in the finals

'07 shouldn't count. That roster is easily the worst to ever make a Finals appearance. And they did so against the best American sports franchise of the last 20 years. They had no shot.

If Wade weren't falling apart, the not 6, not 7 claim wouldn't be so far-fetched.

Just got back from camping and watched both game 6s on my DVR. The best play of the weekend was Battier putting the hit on Stephenson.

But yes KD and Bosh are in the same stratosphere talent wise.

I'd have to completely disagree. While they both have length and range, the comparisons stop there. Durant is a good rebounder, a good defender, and an incredible scorer. Bosh is a good scorer. That's all he's got going for him.

Update: NM, you were probably being sarcastic.

Tony Parker needs 32 turnovers in this Finals series in order to have the most turnovers in the playoffs. Lebron needs 42. Otherwise, Westbrook is taking the crown.

It seem like the buffalo bills vs the Dallas cowboys.
Cavs got exposed on the finals, and bills were exposed by the cowboys getting demolished.

And yet it still counts.

And ifs do not.

Good call. I made a remark about Bosh being a 6'10 shooting guard, Benjamin brought up KD. So that is why i made that comment.
