2014 Damn NBA Playoffs Thread

So the Clippers ended up selling for $2B. Holy ****.

To Ray Barone's dad?

Wow. I'm back in the first quarter, and apparently K Leonard is not quick enough to guard Westbrook.

I'd concede right now. There is absolutely 0 sense in running these guys legs out in a game they cannot win.
SA nearly scored 100 pts in 3 qtrs. Somethings wrong, dribble the game out and try to address what happened.

This makes me think of pacers bulls 1998 third round.
Neither team could win on the road and it went to 7 games. Although there were games that were close including I think game 4 that the bulls should have won but didn't because of I think pippin not making free throws.

I guess it really just doesn't matter. This team cannot beat Miami. But dam, I used to love the Pacers. Almost feels like a different franchise now.

As far as I can tell the only two likable people working or rooting for the Pacers organization are Smalls and CJ Watson.

Dude, I'm really starting to like the hell out of you.

If this were football a defense giving up 56 points in three quarters.
So really it's playing for garbage time points, and make the score look better. This ain't baseball you have a time limit.

This is basketball. Its a damn marathon, and to this point, Brooks has allowed the older, stiff Spurs to outlast the young Thunder.

You've set off the bromance alert apevol.:)
This was back in the days of Nba on nbc. Those were great days, and the theme was stupendous.

Shaq and Barkley
They also make me think of grumpy old men. You can choose which one is lemon's character, and the other that is walter's character.

Thunder played longer than he wanted I think in game 4.
Even so this was the usual problem spurs shoot 51 percent hard to freakin beat a great team when they shoot like that.
That and as I just heard it went from bad to worse in the third. Spurs are a damn hard to beat on the road when they have a large lead. In my opinion 15 is the danger One, 11-14 is one inch from the danger zone, 10 or under is favorable.
So you are saying he should be removing starters earlier instead of playing for garbage time points?

I'll be Lemon, you be Matthau. No kidding man, I miss those days. Reggie and Jordan going at it, Barkley body slamming Shaq...

Lol

Yes. I was saying give up. There's one more, and then, God willing, another at SA. Better to try to slay that beast 0-0 than to try to make a hopeless comeback. I don't buy the Stephen A. Smith 'whoever wins game 5 wins the series' stuff, not completely, anyway. This series is too whacky. Hell, the whole playoffs have been whacky.

I will say, even if the Thunder do end up in the finals, I doubt they have much left. The west has just been too much.
