So with our 21 commits at present, where do we land in the recruiting rankings (not that it really matters)?

Somebody a page or two back said that we had to subtract 45 points for Quinn being 2 star and lowest rated recruit, that would drop us back to 1820 and still behind Frankenweenie.

Maybe if we handed out Escalades, free tatoos and were coming off probation, we could go 13-0 and be a much more attractive choice for these young recruits and their parents. :good!::good!:

I think the switch back to the 4-3 WILL help. Of course we competed b/c of the QB WR position. That wont be the case in 2013. HOWEVER, better coaching and a new offensive system should conterbalance that. The defense will be better as well. Just wish we could have gotten one of the top RBs to run behind that OL. Hope Jabo (RB) is a diamond in the rough.

All hope and glory are fleeting. We wont be able to compete with classes like this..... I know some of you say well we were in it with the big shot 4 & 5 star guys. Just Being in it and actually signing are two different things. If they aint signing just being in it dont mean ****.

I'm sorry but I don't buy this. His dad is going to blame UT for Dooley not recruiting him. CBJ went as hard or harder after this kid than anyone. I guess that doesn't count for anything. This is just a cop out in my opinion.

agreed. if tennessee had any chance we would have gotten him. apparently we were never going to get him

I'm honestly okay with a smaller class this year. Leaves more room for all the legacies next year. Bold prediction - UT signs a top 5 national recruiting class next season. Bash away.
