I don’t care what people on here think. I am not bashing MC and JJ. They were good players. Not elite. On one hand you think JG sucks but then say MC and JJ had great accomplishments? Curious but did they throw the ball to themselves? Oh that’s right obviously they did because JG couldn’t have had anything to do with their accomplishments right?
Pretty sure, JTD is waiting until after the May 20th, NCAA decision, whether or not to allow instant eligibility for transfers, this year. If he is eligible, immediately, he will transfer (to UT, imo), if not, he will probably stay at USCSo about JTD...Does anyone know if he has a date he wants to announce his decision by?
They were not elite because they were slow and dropped passes. Many first and second round wrs had bad college qbs much worse than Jg and still got drafted top two rounds.Horrible take!..yea JG threw them passes for completions but because of JG they weren’t considered “Elite” only “Good receivers”
(stat wise) Both receivers were handicapped because of JG’s performance at the QB position and had to work with what they had .how many times were they wide open? How many times did he under throw or over throw? How many times was JG late on a read? How many times did he not see the open man? Both positions go in hand and hand and can’t have one without the other but what I can say is if we had a different QB Calloway and Jennings would have had “elite” stats not average stats..but both still busted their ass to gain the extra yards after the catch and to do whatever it took to get the touchdown not JG...JG never really threw a Touchdown towards the endzone most of them came after the catch in the middle of the field.
..JG never really threw a Touchdown towards the endzone.........

If this is all he has done in three years then it is not impressive at all. We already know his total career TD production is abysmal.I understand the frustrations, but don't let hyperbole ruin your credibility. "Never really threw a TD towards the endzone?" A quick Google search on "Jarret Gaurantano TD end zone".

He's inconsistent. That means he makes nice plays sometimes too. Have a take, but make it based on accurate histories.
yeah saying JJ wasn’t elite is the stupidest take i’ve heard in a while, dude will go down as an all-time great VFL, dude was huge in beating florida for the first time in nearly 2 decades, caught a prayer hail mary to win against UGA, and broke so many tackles this year that i wish we’d have given him 15 carries a game, all while being thrown to by a QB who looks like Helen keller out there half the timeThey were not elite because they were slow and dropped passes. whats not to say if we actually had top 4 or 5 round wr talent JG wouldn't look much better?

Helen Keller is an excellent analogy of JG’s play. In a literal sense, the only balls he doesn’t throw toward the endzone, are those backward swing pass laterals. “Yo dude! YOU’RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!”Based on your quick search of the 5 TD’s you used as an example further validated my point he threw 16 total touchdowns last year while throwing 8 int’s.taking away the 5 TD’s you used that you consider (near) or towards the endzone still has him under half percentage % wise of reaching the red zone or scoring near the red zone.so my original comment still stands

Yeah when people post highlights it’s always our WRs making crazy catches behind them, over a dude, usually just being a bigger man. Find me a highlight of JG hitting a slant route in timing and in stride....His completion percentage is only good because of that exactly! JG is essentially padding his stats because he doesn’t throw past the sticks. Anything thrown on a 5 yard slant, outs and swing passes is because of our receivers making plays after the catch especially if it becomes a touchdown, not JG.someone please mention a beautiful pass JG has ever made to a receiver the 3 years he’s been here?![]()

Bump for our VFL hater and poster that doesn’t trust Pruitt to play the right Qb and makes up BS trying to make his pointYPA is true, but one can also look at Average Depth of Target. Only 2 sec starters targeted it further downfield than JG last year. The myth of him checking it down all the time is just that.
