'19 CA QB JT Daniels (Georgia commit)

Look at where NFL teams value QBs and how soon they go in the draft. If all it cost for a CHANCE to have a progam changing QB is 1 out of 85 scholarships, you take it every time.

We can sell a experienced OLine with legit NFL talent and a wide open QB competition. We will also have an above average defense. The only slight we have against us inexperience at WR.

How about 6/85? Why stop there?

You think it will stay at 6/85?

If you can't field the other 23 positions with 79 players you are doing something wrong. Would rather have the QB than a wide receiver playing a year earlier than he should, or a tackle that has to slide into guard .

Not having spring practice in many ways but especially with natural attrition. Numbers are tight

Cept there’s more than ONE wide receiver or OL on the field at a time. Lot more opportunities for productivity.

Another reason I wonder if there is any sincere interest on his part.

I think it’s fair to say we are expected to have an elite level defense next year

"There are plenty of terrific options out there where he can shine. Michigan, Tennessee, LSU, Washington, Notre Dame and others are all schools that could use some immediate help, recruited him hard out of high school or both. A pro style offense fits his skillset the best. It's hard to guess right now but I could see him winding up in a Tennessee uniform. And if he’s eligible immediately he could make a huge impact.”

Autocorrect got you somewhere, Ben. Haha
No I was just being a smartazz.

I get where the wise old owl is coming from but listen... sign me up for that problem. If a second day NFL draft pick wants to transfer out because we have a better guy (based on staff judgement), then we will know our program is healthy. Generally attrition from more talented guys is a good sign for your team.

Yeah I’m on the “iron sharpening iron” bandwagon. If you trust your coaching staff, then what problem is there by having multiple elite QBs on the roster? The one they choose should be good. If the other transfers out, so be it. Honestly at this point I’m confused as to what the argument against even is. Lol

I have a hunch we'll hear it again.
