'18 DT TN D'Andre Litaker

Wonder why he moved to Riverdale from Oakland? Oakland was a powerhouse this past season. Do you happen to know why he moved to Riverdale? Was it just a family move situation? Thanks!

I feel like you're way too bothered and concerned with his reasoning for moving

What kind of response is this? I just asked a question why would I get bothered? I already know about some of his family situations that have happened & was wondering if maybe that was the reasoning.

Can't believe that type of response though buddy. That's ok if you know & don't want to share though. Not going to bother me. What bothers me is your response back to me. Thanks!

Article up on 247 with an update on his reaction to the coaching changes. Anyone with a subscription willing to hook us up? Some of us need to get our fix.

Wednesday night, Litaker visited with new Vol defensive line coach Brady Hoke. Litaker said he was surprised to hear about the coaching change in Knoxville, but is looking forward to getting to know Hoke more when he's on Tennessee's campus for the Vols junior day.

“It was kind of surprising to me. I didn't see coach Stripling moving from the defensive line position. He is a great coach. I think I spoke to coach Hoke one time when he was at Michigan. I was surprised about the move. I will be down there February 18th for junior day so that I can get to know coach Hoke and he can get to know me. He's already reached out to me and said he can't wait to get to visit with me,” Litaker said.

“It was important that he reached out to me. I know he is busy and as a lot of things going on. It was good to hear from him and like I said, I'm looking forward to getting to know him starting next weekend at the junior day.”

Litaker also has a tie new offensive line coach Walt Wells. Wells' brother, Bobby, coaches Litaker at Riverdale High School and Wells will be heavily involved in the Vols' mid-state recruiting efforts.

Litaker himself will be heavily involved in the upcoming recruiting process as he's in no hurry to make a decision and wants to see several schools. Litaker knows with the class of 2018 taking center stage that schools around the country are trying to get his attention and want to visit with him. It's something Litaker is trying to take in stride.

We need one of these kids to commit. Whether it's Litaker, Harris, or one of the others. Having three of the state's best recruiting the others would be big.

We want the highly rated ones to commit early, big diff.

So as long as an in-state kid hasn't played a down of football as a senior but some sites have already deemed him at least a 4 star blue chip recruit its ok to commit in February.

If you don't fit that mold, nope nope nope.

Got it.
