We are gonna be squeaky thin a RB next season. Both he and Chandler would see playing time. Kelly and CFA cannot carry the whole load. One injury and we're in big trouble.

Exactly, getting two RB's this class is a must. If we can pull of getting both Akers and Chandler would give us much needed depth in that position. And great depth at that. Really excited to get to see Chandler run.

We need 3 unless Kamara decides to stay. And whoever we sign will have the opportunity to compete for the feature back role. We have a lot to sell.

If it is actually between us and FSU, he may be paying close attention to the LSU situation. If Jimbo jumps , LSU may take FSU's spot.

I would not be surprised to see a JUCO RB pop up at some point.

Good point. It would depend on LSU's depth chart. I know they have Guice but I don't know who they have behind him or committed. Also, who would Jimbo take with him coach wise. I guess Graham is still there?

If we see that, I think that will show where we are with Akers. I don't see us taking Akers, Chandler and the guy from LA and a JUCO.

I suppose they could cut the guy from LA but I don't see it.

RB is one of those positions that true freshman can have an impact early.

Met him at the QB club last year. You can tell he's a smart dude. One that I hope we can hang on to for a while. His blood is turning more orange everyday!

Probably the whole crew. I'm not familiar with their OL situation but if he brought Rick Trickett with him, Jeff Grimes would need a home.

If he wants early playing time he has the best chance to get that at Tennessee. This guy would step on campus and be in a 3 way tie for the back up spot.

Any other staff have as good of a relationship that Gillespie has with Akers?

I don't think anyone is as tight with Akers as Gillespie is, but I know he likes the FSU staff for sure.
