What would you say our chances are with Akers, serious question btw?

We're in his top 5 is all I can say. I personally think we're about 3rd in those top 5 schools but I think he ends up at FSU or OSU..

Yes, looks like we are running about 4th right now for Akers. I think FSU though is definitely the team to beat. I would put OSU ahead of LSU.

The biggest reason is the interim coaching tab for Orgeron right now for them. They name an established or well known coach or possibly keep Orgeron then that might make them jump over OSU.

They are different backs than Hurd was. Hurd needed room to get started to be his best. It's clear what kind of runners we need to be successful with this line. And it's the two we have now.

That's ridiculous. Pretty much the same line and offensive scheme as last year when he went off for 1200.

Hurd needs to give a rats ass to be successful, not room.

He ran with 50% effort this year plain and simple.

You're right he rarely saw it. that's why his vision sucks. Thats why John Kelly already has a longer career run than hurd. But it was there.
