This tells me Auburn leads. Why would you go to that game with Oklahoma in Knoxville? Sucks.
Well, I think it's probably so he can walk up to the coaches with a microphone on the sideline and say, "auburn is good and all, but UT has one of the best programs of all time!" And drop the mic Kanye style. Then take a private chopper into Knoxville, landing on TBA and zip lining into the stadium to announce he's a Vol.
Duh.
Liked your post because I agree. Made the same point to a buddy during BGSU.
I think you're 100% on target here.
If I'm an opposing recruiter, I am pointing out that Tennessee rotates 7-10 guys all game - not just series by series but sometimes play by play.
1. Star players want to play
2. The less snaps one plays, the less stats they accumulate. Production is still the #1 key to making the NFL.
3. Can't get in a groove
I think there may be something to the idea that we will have a slightly more difficult time recruiting top-flight WRs for this offense due to how often we rotate. Not saying it's impossible, but other schools are undoubtedly making recruits aware of it.
