Coaching in NFL and college is the same, only WAY different - latimes
Beg to differ.
And do you not think these prima donna 5* players don't whine and complain about not getting the ball?
Because I said so wasnt working, so you tried to find an article in hopes that because Sam Farmer says so might work better.
This is such a dumb argument. Were talking about the highest level, with the best competition and the most parity, compared to amateurs with gigantic talent advantages. Lets talk next about how John Calipari considers college basketball harder than the NBA, lol
College students are of higher level, but that doesn't mean teaching college is harder than teaching 20 2nd graders.
You're just butthurt I found an article from a legitimate source that says you're wrong.
I'm disappointed that someone gave that guy a platform for what is essentially a Bleacher Report article, but you are free to be as willfully ignorant as you'd like.
Your point was that coaching in the NFL is easier. Based on winning percentage and the length of the average tenure, you are dead wrong. You can talk about recruiting all you want, but those guys were obviously getting enough recruits to win at a greater clip than they had in the NFL. And there's a reason for that.
That leaves you with nothing but time commitment, which again, is hilarious:
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh clocks long hours to prep for game day - ESPN The Magazine
Again, he actually has the availability and access to do that much. College coaches don't, because they have so many more responsibilities and restrictions, ie working around class schedules, and the big one, constantly kissing the ass of 17 year olds to come to the school. NFL coaches just have to worry about game prep.
