Sweet deer lord.. VolDango and I agree on something. Richmond is ok with being a Rebel and I'm ok with that, but he's done nothing but drop vague hints to "hold on till NSD" so he doesn't become Benedict Arnold until he's crossing the state line into Mississippi IMO.

I stopped holding onto this one a long time ago, and stuff like this makes me really think that he was recruiting for Ole Miss while visiting Neyland.

Lol, there's more pressure around him to go to Ole Miss than UT so the opposite could be entirely true as well.

For those who don't know in Memphis high schools Ole Miss is considered the "cool" place to go especially in the private and suburban schools

Last year at MUS alone, the most graduates went to Ole Miss and the second most went to UT, and I think it was fairly close. I would have to ask a friend of mine. But it is not as wide of a margin as people think. UT has a popular private/suburban following, in addition to the scholarship money. Even wealthy people like free education for their kids, especially after paying private high school tuition.

The door has never been shut between Richmond and Tennessee. He chose Ole Miss in the beginning because that is what he was feeling at the time. I dont care what a rival poster says about him being a lock to Ole Miss. He is not a lock to them by a far stretch. When Coach Jones and Thig spearhead a recruitment we rarely ever lose. And we will not lose this one.

People stalk every tweet too much. No reason to interpret every single thing they say when most of the time it's not about football. It's usually a rap song, girl or social situation

Forreal we have grown ass man trying to decipher tweets. Not only that but they hinge on every last one of their words

After seeing Dobbs at qb and seeing how line performs with him in there suddenly getting Richmond doesn't feel like life or death to me.

I'm curious why people bash the kid for choosing Ole Miss? I am as Vol as anyone could be, yet I understand Tennessee is not for everyone. When people say DR is making a bad decision, it's "his loss", or he is making a mistake, IMO it's nothing but the Orange koolaid. I know I am not the only one who knows Ole Miss is in the SEC. Ole Miss is winning right now. Ole Miss just beat this UT team like a rented mule by 31 points. It's closer to his home and his family seems to prefer it. UT made DR the #1 or #2 priority for 2015 and he chose Ole Miss. Can Ole Miss get DR to the NFL if that is his ultimate goal just as easy as UT can? Of course.

IMO the kid has made his decision and anyone looking at the current situation and being unbiased can't think he made a bad one. Just let it be. Kid is just toying with UT fans at this point. Don't buy into the talk. JMO
I don't disagree with this at all but IMO Butch should have him stop coming on visits. Nothing to gain if what you say is true.

there is a post in this thread that stated DR was trying to recruit other visitors that were at UT while he was here the last time.if that is the case, then if he comes back,he should have to purchase a ticket & sit wherever & not be allowed around the visiting recruits.

Yep, wealthy people gain wealth and keep it by doing smart things with their money.

I'm not saying this is indeed the case, but maybe Butch is giving Richmond the opportunity to sway some opinions, knowing full well there is a lack of interest by many of the recruits Richmond is lobbying. At some point, Richmond might have to ask himself, "Why am I just about the only one who is excited about Ole Miss"?

Just a thought...

That would mean we are one injury to Dobbs away from needing Richmond .... we still need him imho

Richmond is not ready to step into a starting role. He has a lot of potential but realistically he needs a redshirt year before getting major minutes. He will also be a RT not a LT.

Who knows and I am no sec recruiter but when a guy like Richmond starts trying to drum up ole miss recruits at our games (if true) I tell him to call us when he has a change of heart.
