Can't blame the kid if he's hesitating. Although I firmly believe our trajectory is on the UP side, we've been a .500 team the last 7 years (since he was 10-11 years old). Kids want success and a sure winner, can't fault that.
The recruiting job for the coaches is future success and being the bedrock for that foundation. Not always an easy sell when your 6-6.

I'm not sure. Someone posted that only applies to the first set of papers and it's my understanding that Kirkland sighned those with MI first. Nothing wrong with Kahlil or Kirkland initiating the face time action though regardless.

1. Kyle Phillips, DE Like Thompson, Phillips was not taking a passive approach to Tuesday's practice. He was there to work and he became one of the day's biggest headaches for offensive linemen. Phillips' speed off the edge at 260 pounds was almost unfair. If he didn't beat the lineman in front of him outright, his motor and speed in pursuit allowed him to get there eventually.
