Bray heard, "I'm gonna hold you accountable" and he was out the door. The kid had a lot of talent and yes, we would have been better this year if he stayed, but he also had a huge attitude problem.
Is it just me, or does this kid never sets his feet to throw? And I didn't see any passes that had any zip on them. What am I missing?
What?No way does this kid fit the system that Jones runs. Comparing this kid to Lafevour is a joke also. Lafevour was much faster and shiftier than this kid will ever be. He is a nice looking prospect, but don't go trying to fit a square peg in a round hole just because he can throw the ball and the coaches will give him a look.
Quarterback Zach Gentry, a 2015 prospect from New Mexico, is starting to see his recruitment come to life. Coaches from Tennessee visited Gentry at his school last week and offered the next day. Oregon is also heavily involved in the process and could be next to offer. Gentry already has a few options, but his recruitment has not come close to peaking. The four-star prospect could see the offers pile up over the next four months.
Offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian will head all the way out to New Mexico on Friday as he's scheduled to see 2015 quarterback Zach Gentry.
It seems as if Tennessee has closed in on several quarterbacks in the class of 2015 as Gentry, Lock, Jarrett Stidham and Torrance Gibson seem to be the guys sticking out the most to Tennessee coaches right now.
Look for Bajakian to visit all of those guys' schools over the next several weeks.
