I don't get the Peterman hate on here. He got thrown into the swamp with next to no experience, playing in a new offense, and got hurt in the process. Lighten up on the kid. Had he played later in the season he probably would have been no worse than Dobbs. If they put him on the field at some point I would expect his performance to be much improved if he stays with the program.
There is going to be a 4 way fight for the job. Best man wins as determined by Butch.
Well said. IF Nathan does not decide to transfer, I would not be surprised at all if going into the season the depth chart reads Worley, Peterman, Ferguson, Dobbs. Coaches felt that way going into 2013. 2014 could very well be the same.
100% agree. Have been saying the same thing. Wasn't like Worley played much better the 2nd half. Worley had some turnovers and easily could have had atleast 2 more int's that were dropped. What FR QB or any QB making his first start there would have faired much better? Not many. Neither Peyton nor Tee won in the swamp. They were 0-3 in starts there between them.
I may be wrong but just don't see Worley getting many more starts, if any. Hoping like hell Fergy is as good as advertised and wins it out of Spring.
You may be right. QB development can be very hard to predict. A kid can all a sudden have the light go on and he just lights it up. Things slow down for him and everything clicks. Maybe it does for one of the younger guys going into this season. Justin did lead the team to it's best win of last year, so for now I think he is the guy until one of the others shows they could get it done.

Yes they rolled Peterman out because they thought he was up to it and yes they were oh so wrong. Worst performance by a QB in UT history wrong. Why? Because he's way better in practice. If he's back out there in front of a freshman or anyone else, its my opinion were in BIG trouble at the QB position.

That Gentry is their number 1 target?...if that's your theory,I think it's right on...but this staff doesn't have tunnel vision...they recruit more than what the basket will hold...and let the unwilling apples fall :yess:

Is this true?
