a month ago i would have said all unc. but man weve made a big big push. hes gotten to be real friends with mckenzie and thats a huge draw as is the sec. so we have a real chance.
4 DTs? I would imagine we would cool on DJ of the 3 or recruit over Picou. Our numbers are a little more thin this year as compared to last years. And we have other positions that need addressed.

I think the commitments situation is fluid, just like last year, and it will not surprise me if some current commits look elsewhere, either voluntarily or involuntarily, as time goes on. The rumor about Picou is that the coaches rate him very highly, which is why they took his commitment even though we are in it for Mckenzie, Tuttle, Jones, and Settle. I think the fact he was one of the prime targets for OSU speaks to that. Plus, his teammate is purportedly similarly underrated by the services and was one of the primary targets of LSU, UF, etc., at OLB. In sum, my guess is Picou will not be a current commit that looks elsewhere involuntarily because the coaches think he is top notch and forcing him to look around would compromise the commitment of his teammate, who is also supposed to be top notch.
I agree. The more I think about it taking 4 DTs this year plus at least 3 DEs in addition to the 9 DL kids taken last year seems like a lot to me in just 2 classes.
McKenzie, Picou and IMO take the 1st one of Jones or Tuttle to commit. I would not recruit over Picou. IMO his motor is a big deal and is something we should not over look.

If we were to encourage Picou to look elsewhere do you not think it would effect his teammate that is committed as well?
Can't keep them all. Do you think we tell Tuttle we are full? Are we going to get any DEs this cycle? Still have Phillips, Sweat, and DeBerry(I know he's listed as a LBer but he's growing out of the position). Do we tell them to look elsewhere and take all DTs? Eventually something will have to give.

a lot of people have said that picou was a top target of OSU, where has this been said by the buckeyes?
You do have to remember that a lot of these kids would not have to be told we are full, because they are not all picking Tennessee. I doubt we have to tell Sweat or DeBerry we are full. JMO
I do think Phillips takes the last DE spot. Miss on him and hopefully Olenga is still on the board.
