I think it depends. Assuming Kahlil is on board, DJ Jones is a take, we have Picou on board, and we are in the top 3 for Settle and Tuttle.

I can't see this class taking more than 4 DT's. ATP, I think it depends on how the recruitments of Settle and Tuttle go.

Settle and DeBerry are close, so I'm leaning that direction.

If all want commit you take all of them. Trenches need those type of guys period and lots of them.

I really think we have a legit shot here with all of those named. Definitely in top group for Sweat and Settle. We know McKenzie is going to be a Vol. We have Butch Jones and Tommy Thigpen on the good guys side. Come on, there's a chance!

McKenzie is the worst kept secret in recruiting right now.

D.J. Jones is looking like a strong possibility.

Settle is looking like it's not going to happen.

Sweat would be the big surprise.

Tuttle is about a 65% chance at this point.

Taking Picou last week kind of confused me. Not sure if McKenzie, Jones, Tuttle/Settle were a possibility, why we would take him.

But....I think you need some crazy kind of depth on the lines, so I think we'll see a LOT of DL commits and OL commits over the next few years. If theres a place to be heavy on depth, it's there.

I think we took him knowing that settle is fading. I'll be honest I like the idea of take 3 more dt's especially since jones is a juco. Being him in redshirt picou. That my friend is how you build depth, and I'll probably get roasted for this but watching McKenzie's highlight film he is very quick and explosive I wouldn't mind seeing him line up at defensive end in certain occasions.

I think we took picou because he was the most athletic of the bunch with the possible exception of McKenzie.

Absolutely. I like our chances with Sweat. Hopefully McKenzie can sway him at The Opening.

I don't think they get DJ Jones when all is said and done. Too many at his JC pushing Bama and others who want him back home in SC.

I'm starting to feel that way myself. McKenzie and Picou at least gets us a couple good DTs in the class. I think we could have Q. Johnson today as well. IMO waiting on Jones costs us that option. Tough call on the sure thing vs hoping for the bigger fish.

IMO Settle and Tuttle end up at Clemson and UNC.

You can never have too many DT's...you always have to assume someone might not pan out...bring em all in

If 99% of us are honest, we think Tuttle and Settle are better than Picou because of stars and no other reason.

I think McKenzie can help pull one of Jones, Settle and Tuttle. Will help us immensely to recruit another DT to play alongside him once he's on board.

Don't sell Picou short because he was take regardless of Smith. He was the highest rated DT on Ohio State's board and the assumption was he would go there.

Not sure about highest but he was high on their board and most felt he was an OSU lock.
