Whats funny is when some adults cry and whine when a coaching staff tells a committed kid he might want to look at other schools. It's ok for a kid that has been committed for over a year to bolt because he needs to do what's best for him. Remember stuff like this when a coaching staff tells someone they might need to look at other schools.

As a man (IMO) if you agree to a set of terms... say I am committing to the U of wherever, and as a condition you agree to give me a scholly if I make my grades and I promise not to take visits to competitors as a result of the verbal contract. Then the commit breaks his contract the school has the right to break theirs..period! Life is about choices.

Most pass rushers (DE's, OLB's in 3-4, etc.) Are tall and lengthy. so even if they don't get to the QB they are taught to get their hands up to bat down the throw.

AJ has improved his speed but he still was rarely a cover guy in 3rd and long situations.

I would like to get Cherry, I think he could be a diamond in the rough, and he reminds me of AJ pre scandal. But he's a lacking in some key area's to play LB in a 4-2-5 defense. Which is basically our base D due to the number of WRs used in most offenses.

I think he would earn his keep against Alabama, Georgia, and any other team that runs mostly between the tackles though.
