Per my source, I just got confirmation that the 3 missed calls that Chuck Norris had when Bell invented the phone, where from Cecil Cherry. TIFWIW.

I also got confirmation that Mr. Cherry did not do so well in the weight lifting competition, because the judge counting reps was from Alabama, so everyone only got 3 reps, as that was as high as the judge could count.

Cecil Cherry will put his own name in the history books & make a legacy of his name. However, I see Al Wilson in this man's eyes, body of work & highlight reel.

People need to stop comparing Cecil Cherry to Al Wilson. He is not Al Wilson. He is Cecil Cherry.

Al Wilson ran 4.56 at the NFL Combine.

Some of you are way out of control in your building up of expectations for this young man.

Let him come in here and be his own player.

The only thing I compare is their intensity and propensity for knocking an opponent's dick in the dirt. I never said he will be the next Al Wilson. I think that Cecil Cherry LOVES knocking the crap out of RBs, WRs, and QBs as much as Al Wilson did and I hope to see that kind of intensity when he gets on campus.

So, silly question... I know Drooley used A.J. for short yardage occasionally. Just seeing how hard Mr. Cherry hits people; would there ever be justification for handing him the ball or a special occasion blocking role? I know, I know, we have incredible talent on the O side right now, so this question is admittedly silly, but man it would be sweet to see a crusher like Cherry drill a hole through another LB for 6 pts.

CC actually plays some offense also, as a FB, so yeah he can carry the rock, and looks faster than his 40 time when he does. Check out his hudl film, it shows some runs.

He looks good running at FB, of course he can lay a block, breaks tackles, and he has quick feet and all around good footwork.

This is random but how in the hell did this guy drop to a 3 star on ESPN? The guy is easily a 4 star talent and will show that on the college level.
