'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

Great! So you think he might choose UT? He likes Butch?

He likes the person who makes sure recruiting is RIGHT and goes off without a glitch! The #1 person that all recruits and parents should know!!

He hasn't had the opportunity to meet CBJ -- YET

oooohhh my GOD yes!!!

His eyes are WIDE open this go-round

This is good to hear. Whether he chooses to come to UT or not, I'm sure his decision will be well thought out.

I'm guessing he has learned a valuable lesson and will not be fooled by fast talk again.

I like the idea of Hurd, Kamara and Scott being in the same backfield - would be the most talented backfield we have had in some time

With hurd Scott and paulk, I can't imagine he'd go to yet another school with an already loaded backfield. He'll have two years to make his case to the league.

If he can enroll in December, then he should be eligible to play in the national championship for us in January

I didn't realize anyone here was hating on him.... Sure, maybe after he chose Bama, but that's expected.

I recall we all wanted him. Badly... I don't remember VN not showing any love

Not sure if MZT is saying that AK picked Bama the first go-round because UT didn't show enough love? I thought he just fell for Saban's Jedi mind tricks.

Kamara can come in and play. He just wasn't a fit for Bama. He's perfect for a spread system.

this. Always thought he made a HUGE mistake picking Bama. AK would do real work in a spread/read option system. Life lesson for AK and Dee Hart. Hopefully he can rebound like Aub C Grant.

So Kamara will be an EE in '15 and have 3 years to play?
I'm not sure if he actually RSed at Bama. I'm assuming he did though so it seems yes. The same way Woody Quinn didn't RS for us. If coaches see a player as a lower caliber (whether they are or not) they find a way to use their eligibility each year. And before the flaming I'm not calling AK bad, but it is pretty obvious AK was not in the plans at Bama pretty early on.
