'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

Alvin was also sitting behind several 5 star backs. I don't care what fans may think they know about a recruit no one knows what these young men have been told by these coaches or what is really going on behind the scenes. I hope the young man finds his way and does something with his talent for himself and his family.
I agree with the last sentence, but not only everyone on here, but Bama fans even have no idea why he chose to go there. He could be insanely talented like Drake at Bama. Drake didn't play and maybe wouldn't have played his whole career if it wasn't for injuries and whatnot. I really think they were fine with Henry as the backup and Drake wouldve been a 3rd down/backup at best, and he still might be but now he's getting way more snaps.

It's really stupid to pick a college like Bama to "win" or whatever if you're going to transfer after not playing as a true freshman. Absolutely stupid. UGA would have served him better (his second choice).

If he was as good as Crowell, we probably would've seen him splitting carries with Yeldon instead of Drake, or seen him in the Sugar Bowl instead of Henry. Crowell could've gotten carries at Bama as a Fr on the current roster. He was the truth.

He ripped South Carolina apart as a frosh, who finished in the top 10.

Pretty much this, except I like Drake's game...

I do too, I think Crowell was better tho. He would've had a 1k season easily if he didn't hurt his ankle late in the season.

That LSU team they played in the SECCG that year was dirty too.

you should find him on twitter & be his life coach.

Alvin is a kid still. Not all kids have the same maturity level as others. We have all have had momentary lapses in judgment and made silly mistakes in our youth. As parents we pray that our children will hopefully learn from their mistakes and be better people from these experiences. I hope Alvin does the same. Or.....we could be a smart alec and talk about a kid needing a life coach. There are a lot of grown azz adults that could use a life coach.

Crowell is an elite back that would no doubt start for any school in the country. I wasn't saying he was on his level. Just saying Alvin had some higher rated backs ahead of him on the depth chart at Bama.

Alvin got processed by Saban, he only signed him to keep him away from other SEC schools. Everyone knew it, well, apparently except him. People around him TRIED telling him this, but his mind was made up on the Miami trip.

As for Crowell, he is invited to the NFL combine. Past records mean nothing anymore in the NFL or college. Well, except Auburn, three requirements to be the starter. 1. Be able to run as a QB 2. Make the back shoulder throw 3. Must have been kicked off another team for bring a THIEF

Wait you mean he drove without a seat belt while his license was suspended and didn't show up for a ticket in court at some point.

Oh noes, he is 19, no big deal.

"Kamara will be part of the Class of 2015 and added that he's set to be a December graduate with no restrictions on where he can sign."
