'15 JUCO RB Alvin Kamara (UT commit 6/21/14)

It's difficult enough being a parent of one child in a major Division 1 program with all the ups and downs. It is really difficult when you have multiple young men who you care for. They are family, and you want the best for them and to see them happy. Hopefully, he can find the right place and be successful.

You hit the nsil on the head. You're exactly right. We're so involved with so many of these guys, its hard to separate yourself from them, and remember they're not your own, but we luv them as if they are

Glad to see ya around Mzterry and great to hear about the numbers from Norcross. I find myself always rooting for Alvin, Kevin, and all those boys. Unless they are playing the Vols of course.

That's how I ended every conversation with the boys tonight.

"MAMA KAY, LOVE YOU AS LONG AS YOU'RE NOT PLAYING TENNESSEE. "

I sneak in here every blue moon.

Thanks for the info, wasn't trying to be nosey and pry for info, it's just hard to get reliable info and I had to atleast try seeing how your the insider with these kids in that area.

Wish I could keep him lockedaway for a few months..lol, but I did have a really good conversation with him today at the signing of Norcross players. 27 signees 22 to D1, how awesome is that

Wow! 22 D1 signees for one school is CRAZY! Hats off to all those guys and good luck to them.

this dude reminds me of Isaiah Crowell. All the talent in the world and will never amount to anything cuz he dont give a f. JUST FROM WHAT IVE READ

Except Isaiah actually performed well in college and Alvin never did anything

Alvin was also sitting behind several 5 star backs. I don't care what fans may think they know about a recruit no one knows what these young men have been told by these coaches or what is really going on behind the scenes. I hope the young man finds his way and does something with his talent for himself and his family.

I think Kamara would have been a proven phenom at anywhere but Bama. Dumb that he chose a school where he would be 6th string.

He was Saban'd. Just like a lot of other recruits get. Saban will tell a recruit whatever it takes to get them on the team......and keep them off of someone elses.

As a strategy, it works quite well. Not only is he putting great players in his line-up, he is also keeping great players out of other teams line-ups. From a HUMAN standpoint, it sucks. Because he does not give a rats arse about the impact it has on the individual he lied to.
