I will not apoligize for answering questions or comments thrown directly at me. If someone ask I will respond. I will also not apologize for everytime I post info on a recruit I will not post info that is only UT positive. I assumed most would like to know in more detail than he liked his visit, VFL.

If someone asks me would UA take this player or not I give them the best answer I can or what position UA is recruiting them for. If you only want info from your boards fine. If it is a requirement to pump Vol sunshine on this board so be it, but I will not and always try to give info that is out there regarding a recruit UT is after or info that may clear things up that maybe one of your own sites was vague on or one of your on insiders if I can add anything. But again if you guys just want sunshine pumping have at it and believe everything you find on a pro UT site.:salute:

I will not go into all the details but the short of it was Foster was there with a few other recruits when L Phillips was shot. Phillips is Foster's cousin. After seeing what took place you can imagine how messed up he might have been. The next day AU was having some recruits visit and Foster was suppose to as well. But Foster decided not to and I can understand why. But when Trooper found out he was not coming he got upset with him about it. Basically told him it was more important to be at AU than worrying about what happen.

I am simply amazed at what some people will believe. Seriously? There's no way CTT said/did that. Hell, I wouldn't even believe bama coaches would do something like that. I try to approach all the boards I read with common sense, which, when it comes to recruiting is hard to find in some posters. It's mostly a p*ssing contest between a bunch of white guys in their 20s & 30s, which is why I mostly just read. I don't know where you got that info, but you have to be delusional (or desperate) to believe it. Sorry. Sometimes fans don't want to use basic common sense because if they did, then they'd have to deal with reality.

Also, regarding D. Walker, from what I've read, there was a spot available for a DE, it went to Bower. The only other DL we will sign will be a DT. I don't know if Walker was high on us or not, but with Bower on board, it doesnt matter now. (to me anyway).

As always I forgot AU is all about family, but I know an AU fan would never think his staff would do something like that. I mean the same Trooper that was called out in a national article by the grandmother of Greg Robinson. And if Walker's spot really went to Bowers why is AU having Walker return for a visit this month. Unless Walker is lying now.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I read the quote.

AK sounds more mature than most young 'uns going through the recruiting process. The quote supplied by TW (and thanks to him for all his information) demonstrates that you have been doing good work with him -- and of course with Jason as well.

Don't change a thing in what you are doing with them. The only suggestion I might offer is that some time when you and Alvin are having a serious conversation about his recruiting experience, you might let him know that you are proud of him and his accomplishments, but if he does not end up at Tennessee you are going to dump a whole can of "whup ass" on him.

well all find out soon enough where he's deciding to play.

when his head and heart are 100% clear and so many changes in the league have slowed down with all the decommits from the same school and so many are looking around and flocking and looking at UT as an alternate plan.... it will make you take a closer look at every school!!! EVERY SCHOOL is being rethought...

Gotta find the best fit and rotation for a running game.

Short answer... NO because had they, he would have been there and I would have brought him.

When I begin traveling to / from more often... Baby boy will be with me. Deal? One dose of Neyland speaks volumes.

Let me add this to food for thought also:

(1) Athens is at our backdoor ; accessible and stay whispering in his ear. The other thing about folks who say they're wanting him to play with other recruits..... not telling you that a few of them won't qualify and go anywhere end up in JUCO.... that's not AK... he can roll right now if they would allow him too. lol He's already qualified; so that is a myth.

(2) In regards to the camps and multiple visits to Alabama.. their fans really need to stop spewing BS on a UT website and speak the truth or find out what the truth is before coming here.

The truth is: Our Norcross coaches like a camp that Alabama hosts 3x a year and they take our boys over there for techique training. Yes AK does spend a ton of time over there.... He's one of the best if not the BEST player left at NHS right now, and this season will have a great deal of dependancy on my baby.

jason used to spend a ton of time in Alabama too outside of his girl being there. So now what?
